• Appendectomy
Appendicitis is a common condition that requires prompt surgery; the appendix becomes inflamed and if left untreated will eventually burst, spilling infectious materials into the abdominal cavity. The discharge might lead to peritonitis, the swelling of the abdominal cavity’s lining which can be fatal unless it treated quickly.
• Laparotomy, Herniotomy, Herniorraphy, Cystostomy and Circumcision.
ENT surgery
Ear, nose and throat (ENT) foreign bodies (FBs) are common occurrences and form a major part of emergencies that most people encounter in Nigeria.
